November 4th the day we see true change happen and the beginning to a better America. I have been waiting for this day for the past 4 years. It is time for change to make for a better America and to reconstruct our nation after the destruction we have endured for the past 8 years.  It is time to kick out the good old boys from the white house, and have someone with views that will change the future of our nation, bring our troops home, and focus on the citizens of our country. I can't wait until November 4th and better yet January 20th, 2009.

Poor Ike he is gimpy like his Grandpa

We had a new first with Isaac this morning. It was his first visit to the emergency room, and knowing how accident prone his parents are I'm sure there will be a few more in his future. I just hope not the near future. Anywho it turned out to be a quick fix, but scared us. Ike was playing with grandpa Ron and ended up throwing himself backwards right as grandpa went to pull him up for a better grip. It probably would have been no big deal except grandpa Ron is all gimpy from a recent shoulder surgery and shouldn't be lifting anything with his left arm, but Grandpa was able to grab his arm and avoid a crash to the ground. At first we thought he was just scared, but soon realized he wasn't moving his arm and he wouldn't stop crying. So off to the ER. The doc checked him out did a quick little bend and rotation to his arm and said we have to wait a little bit to see if he will start using his arm again. At this point the doc said he dislocated his elbow calling it the nursemaid elbow and it is very common in kids up to age six. After sitting around for half an hour and no luck convincing Ike to use his arm it was time for x-rays. I was kind of excited for the x-rays only because our great friend Trent was the one to take them. The doc checked out the film no break, but had to wait til the radiologist could check them out cuz Ike was still not moving his arm. Everything came back ok in regards to no breaks, and we were released. Isaac started using his arm more especially after the IBprofune kicked in. So after our exciting morning in the ER we are thankful for nothing more than a very common dislocation, and now better than to pull on small arms. We did make sure we grabbed a picture so we could remember his first visit to the ER. I tried to find a picture of Grandpa Ron with his gimpy arm but unfortunatly no luck, just our gimpy son.
